Madeleine Stamer has had an extensive career as a professional ceramicist, illustrator, and art educator. Her personal art is inspired by her fierce imagination and her relationship with the natural world, notably birds.
Madeleine has taught and facilitated art programs at numerous Naarm, Melbourne schools and has worked with local communities and organizations throughout her career. She is passionate about early years art education and embraces the importance of a play-based approach to art making.
Madeleine lives with her husband, two daughters, her two cats Hug and Otto, and her scruffy little border terrier called Pippi.
