Mark Hillier is a chartered surveyor with a passionate interest in the history of military aviation, particularly the RAF and the Second World War. He is also a qualified pilot with over twenty-eight years of flying experience. Mark currently flies a Stearman biplane from Goodwood Aerodrome, formerly RAF Westhampnett. He has previously written or co-authored several successful books on aviation, including a biography of Wing Commander Thomas Murray DSO, DFC and Bar, and has contributed numerous magazine articles. He is also a regular public speaker on aviation matters.
