Mark Millar
Mark Millar is a NEW YORK TIMES best-selling author, Hollywood producer, and president of his own division at Netflix after selling his publishing company in 2017. He exclusively creates new comics, TV series, and movies in-house as a senior executive. Adaptations of JUPITER’S LEGACY, SUPERCROOKS (in the form of a Japanese anime), and AMERICAN JESUS (adapted as THE CHOSEN ONE) have already been released. THE MAGIC ORDER, REBORN, SHARKEY THE BOUNTY HUNTER, PRODIGY, KING OF SPIES, EMPRESS, MPH, HUCK, and a live-action SUPERCROOKS are being put together now.
Previously, Mark worked at Marvel Comics, where he created THE ULTIMATES, which was selected by TIME magazine as the comic book of the decade. In 2020, RED SON was also released as an animated feature.
Mark has been an executive producer on all adaptations of his books and worked as a creative consultant to 20th Century Fox on their Marvel slate of movies.
