Mark Millar is a New York Times best-selling writer known for his work on titles such as Wanted, the Kick-Ass series, The Secret Service, Jupiter’s Legacy, Nemesis, Superior, Supercrooks, American Jesus, MPH, and Starlight. His works Wanted, Kick-Ass, Kick-Ass 2, and The Secret Service (adapted as Kingsman: The Secret Service) have been made into feature films.
Millar’s contributions to DC Comics include the acclaimed Superman: Red Son. At Marvel Comics, he wrote The Ultimates, which was recognized by Time magazine as the comic book of the decade, the celebrated Wolverine saga “Old Man Logan,” and Civil War, the highest-selling series in the industry for nearly two decades.
He has served as a producer and executive producer on adaptations of his work. Following the acquisition of his Millarworld comic line by Netflix in 2017, he continues to serve as the company’s president. In 2013, he was awarded a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) by the Queen for his services to film and literature.
Adam Kubert, son of industry pioneer Joe Kubert, is a recipient of numerous comics industry achievement awards, including an Eisner Award and a Wizard magazine award. His influential runs on Wolverine and Incredible Hulk established him as a superstar artist. He has also contributed to major X-Men titles, including the universe-altering Onslaught saga.
For Marvel Comics, Kubert has revisited the character of Wolverine in Astonishing Spider-Man & Wolverine and the sequel Origin II. He was part of the artistic team for the event series Avengers vs. X-Men, and his subsequent work includes All-New, All-Different Avengers, Peter Parker: The Spectacular Spider-Man, and Captain America. In 2020, he returned to his signature character for the Dawn of X relaunch of Wolverine.
