Mark Waid is a New York Times best-selling author with nearly three decades of experience in the comics industry. He has written thousands of issues for every major company, including notable runs on Amazing Spider-Man, X-Men, Ka-Zar, and Fantastic Four.
His celebrated collaborations include Kingdom Come with painter Alex Ross, which earned an Eisner Award for Best Limited Series. Waid received widespread critical acclaim for his Eisner Award-winning run on Daredevil, particularly his work with frequent artistic partner Chris Samnee. He has also written for diverse pop-cultural icons such as Princess Leia and Archie, and spearheaded a new era for the Avengers in All-New, All-Different Avengers.
