Matt Miner
Tyler Chin-Tanner transitioned from a career in teaching and humanitarian aid to his passion for comics, attending The Joe Kubert School from 2003 to 2006. In 2005, he co-founded AWBW with his wife, Wendy.
Through AWBW, Tyler has written several graphic novels, including:
- “American Terrorist” (featured in The New York Times)
- “Mezo,” a Mesoamerican fantasy epic
- “The Orphan King,” a YA series
He has also edited multiple anthologies, such as:
- “All We Ever Wanted” (Ringo Award nominated)
- “Dead Beats” (Ringo Award nominated)
Additionally, he produced the anthology “Young Men in Love,” which won both a GLAAD Media Award and a Ringo Award.
