MATTIAS SCHEEK
Mattias Scheek is an entrepreneur, industrial designer, and audio technology innovator. As cofounder and CEO of Mayht, he led the company that developed Heartmotion, a breakthrough speaker technology that reinvented how speakers produce sound. In 2022, Sonos acquired Mayht for $100 million in an all-cash deal. Scheek served as Director of Hardware Development Engineering at Sonos until 2026, and now supports several startups and scaleups in board and operational roles. He holds a BSc in Industrial Design Engineering from Delft University of Technology. A first-generation entrepreneur raised in Amsterdam by parents of Surinamese descent, he is passionate about helping aspiring founders turn unconventional backgrounds into lasting advantages.
