Michael Avon Oeming is a Jewish American comic book artist and writer, known for his stark, cartoony art style that lends itself to sophisticated and mature subject matter. Born in Bordentown, New Jersey, United States, Oeming is a notable enthusiast of ancient mythology, having penned or illustrated several works focusing on Norse gods and other mythological figures.
