Jeffrey D. Camm

Professor and Inmar Presidential Chair in Analytics in the School of Business at Wake Forest University. Holds a BS from Xavier University and a Ph.D. from Clemson University. Previously faculty at the University of Cincinnati, and a visiting scholar at Stanford University and visiting professor at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. Published over 45 papers on optimization applied to operations management and marketing in journals including Science, Management Science, Operations Research, and INFORMS Journal on Applied Analytics. Recipient of the Dornoff Fellow of Teaching Excellence, the 2006 INFORMS Prize for the Teaching of Operations Research Practice, and the George E. Kimball Medal for service to the operations research profession. Served as editor-in-chief of INFORMS Journal on Applied Analytics (2005-2010). Named an INFORMS Fellow (2017) and an Academic Data Leader by CDO Magazine (2021).

James J. Cochran

Professor of Applied Statistics and the Mike and Kathy Moroun Research Chair at the University of Alabama. Earned BS, MS, and MBA degrees from Wright State University and a Ph.D. from the University of Cincinnati. Visiting scholar at Stanford University, Universidad de Talca, the University of South Africa, and Pole Universitaire Leonard de Vinci. Published over 60 papers on operations research and statistical methods in journals including Management Science, The American Statistician, Annals of Operations Research, and INFORMS Journal on Applied Analytics. Research funded by the Department of Justice and the National Science Foundation. Recipient of the 2008 INFORMS Prize for the Teaching of Operations Research Practice and the 2010 Mu Sigma Rho Statistical Education Award. Elected to the International Statistics Institute (2005), Fellow of the American Statistical Association (2011), and Fellow of INFORMS (2017). Received the Founders Award (2014) and Karl E. Peace Award (2015) from the American Statistical Association, the American Statistical Association’s Waller Distinguished Teaching Career Award (2017), the INFORMS President’s Award (2018), the William G. Hunter Award from the American Society for Quality (2024), and named a Fellow of the African Academy of Sciences (2025). Finalist for the Innovative Applications in Analytics Award three times.

Michael J. Fry

Earned a BS from Texas A&M University and MSE and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Michigan. Previously department head, director of the Center for Business Analytics, and named a Lindner Research Fellow at the University of Cincinnati. Visiting professor at the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University and the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia. Published research in journals such as Operations Research, M&SOM, Transportation Science, and INFORMS Journal on Applied Analytics. Research funded by the National Science Foundation. Research interests include supply chain analytics, sports analytics, and public-policy operations. Collaborated with organizations including Dell, Inc., Starbucks Coffee Company, and the Cincinnati Fire Department. Finalist for the Daniel H. Wagner Prize for Excellence in Operations Research Practice. Named an Academic Data Leader by CDO Magazine (2024).

Jeffrey W. Ohlmann

Associate Professor of Management Sciences and Huneke Research Fellow in the Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa. Earned a BS from the University of Nebraska, and MS and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Michigan. Research on modeling and solving decision-making problems has produced over two dozen papers in journals such as Operations Research, Mathematics of Operations Research, INFORMS Journal on Computing, and INFORMS Journal on Applied Analytics. Collaborated with companies like Transfreight, Cargill, and National Football League franchises. Received the George B. Dantzig Dissertation Award and was a finalist for the Daniel H. Wagner Prize for Excellence in Operations Research Practice.
