Summary
This Festschrift honours Salvatore Bancheri for his distinguished contributions to Italian Studies through scholarship, teaching, academic leadership, and service. Essays by colleagues, former students, and collaborators reflect the breadth and depth of his intellectual work, engaging key themes, texts, and methodologies that Bancheri has helped to shape and advance within the field. The volume also reflects his influence on scholarly discourse in Italian Studies and his sustained support for emerging voices, particularly through his editorial work. Equally central are testaments to his excellence as a teacher and mentor and his long-standing service to academia through leadership, program development, and professional engagement.
