Michelle Johnston
Dr. Michelle Johnston is a consultant Emergency Physician working at an inner city hospital, where she spends her days dealing with trauma. She studied medicine at UWA and became a Fellow of the Australian College for Emergency Medicine in 1998. Dr. Johnston believes there is a core of humanity, art, and beauty within the often harsh environment of the Emergency Department. She has dedicated her career to finding the balance between creativity and critical care medicine. Books are her other source of oxygen, and writing is her sustenance.
