Mohammad Amin Makarem
Author Biographies
Dr. Mohammad Amin Makarem is a Research Associate at Taylor’s University, Malaysia, with prior experience at Shiraz University. His research interests encompass gas separation and purification, nanofluids, microfluidics, catalyst synthesis, reactor design, and green energy. His work in gas separation involves experimental and theoretical investigation and optimization of pressure swing adsorption processes, while his efforts in gas purification focus on novel technologies like microchannels. He has recently explored methods for synthesizing bio-templated nanomaterials and catalysts. Dr. Makarem has also contributed to numerous books and book chapters for prominent publishers and has served as a guest editor for journal special issues.
Dr. Maryam Meshksar is a Process Engineer at Petrochemical Industries Design and Engineering Company (PIDEC). Her research centers on gas separation, clean energy technologies, catalytic processes, and sustainable energy conversion. Within gas separation, she primarily investigates membrane-based separation methods. In the realm of clean energy, she studies methane reforming for syngas production and has developed and synthesized novel reforming catalysts, including hard-templated catalysts using sustainable biotemplates. Dr. Meshksar actively engages in scholarly communication through authoring, editing, and reviewing for leading publishers, with expertise in areas such as greenhouse gases, synthesis gases, natural gas, and homogeneous catalysis. She recently served as Series Editor for “Advances in Biotechnology: Methods, Applications, and Case Studies.”
Dr. Uddandarao Priyanka is a Researcher and Academician specializing in nanobiotechnology and environmental biotechnology applications. She currently holds an Adhoc Faculty position in the Department of Biotechnology at the National Institute of Technology Andhra Pradesh, where she teaches courses in bioprocess engineering and downstream processing and supervises undergraduate research projects. Her doctoral research in Chemical Engineering was completed at the National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal, followed by postdoctoral research at the University of Galway, Ireland. Her research focuses on microbial nanobiohybrids, photocatalytic degradation of pollutants, and wastewater treatment, with extensive publications in international scientific journals. Dr. Priyanka is a recipient of several national and international recognitions and fellowships. She also serves as a co-editor for scientific books and actively participates in academic workshops, seminars, and international conferences.
