Critics Review

“Nicole Russell-Wharton has written a powerful book that will resonate with everyone interested in healing family and ancestral trauma. Not only is Breaking Generational Silence an honest memoir about Nicole’s own experience with breaking the generational silence of those who came before her and her journey to learn how to heal, but it is an incredible and accessible guide for the reader to do the same. I found myself in tears, saying, ‘Yes, exactly!’ out loud and learning about experiences different from my own that gave me a broader perspective, greater empathy, and understanding. Nicole’s awareness and dedication to disrupting the behaviors and patterns and breaking the cycle are clear. I love everything about this beautifully written book!” –Susan Verde, New York Times bestselling author of I Am Peace and I Am Human
