About The Author

Nozomi Naoi

Nozomi Naoi is Associate Professor of Art History in the Department of Japanese Studies at the National University of Singapore. Her first book Yumeji Modern received Honorable Mention for the John Whitney Hall Prize. She also co-curated the exhibition “Made in Japan: Twentieth-Century Poster Art” at the Poster House Museum in New York in 2023.
