Dr. Odangowei Inetiminebi Ogidi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry, Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Biotechnology at The Niger Delta University Wilberforce Island Bayelsa State, Nigeria and Federal University of Technology Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria respectively. He is a Lecturer, Sub-Dean, Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences, and Acting Head, Department of Biochemistry, Bayelsa Medical University, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, Nigeria. He has also served as a Lecturer, Head of Departments of Science Laboratory Technology and Biochemistry, and Deputy Director, Centre for Continuing Education in Federal Polytechnic Ekowe, Bayelsa State. He has authored over 80 peer-reviewed academic articles in reputable local and international journals and presented over 35 conference papers. He has over 80 book chapters published in IGI Global Scientific Publishing, Elsevier, Springer Nature, CRC Press Taylor & Francis, Apple Academic Publishing and Wiley and Sons. He is currently editing 10 books in IGI Global Scientific Publishing, Springer Nature, CRC Press Taylor & Francis, Apple Academic Publishing, Bentham Science. He is a member of various Journal Editorial Boards. His research interest has been Environmental Biotechnology, Phytomedicine, Phytochemistry, Human and Environmental health risk assessments and ecotoxicology amongst others. Dr. Ogidi is a member of West Africa Society of Toxicology, Nigerian Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Foundation for African Development through International Biotechnology and Nigerian Environmental Society.
