Linsey Krolik

Linsey Krolik is a technology, media, and business lawyer practicing in Silicon Valley, California. Since 2004, she has operated her solo law practice, offering outsourced general counsel, technology and content licensing, and business formation services to a diverse clientele, from small businesses and startups to large corporations. Her clients span industries including microprocessors, computer hardware, software, internet, wireless, blogging, and medical devices.

Before establishing her practice, Linsey served as Corporate Counsel for ARM, Inc., an intellectual property company based in the United Kingdom. Prior to that, she held both legal and business roles at various Silicon Valley tech companies, including Palm, Inc., OmniSky Corporation, and 3Com Corporation.

Linsey authors a blog called “Whereas” focusing on legal issues in technology and contributes to several other blogs. She has also presented at BlogHer’08 on the legal aspects of blogging.

Linsey holds a JD/MBA from Santa Clara University School of Law with a concentration in High Technology Law and has been a member of the California State Bar Association since 2002. She is actively involved in her community, serving on the boards of several local organizations.
