Patrick Wyman is a highly acclaimed history podcaster, known for hosting Past Lives, Tides of History, and Fall of Rome. He is also the author of The Verge: Renaissance, Reformation, and Forty Years That Shook the World and Lost Worlds.

Dr. Wyman earned his PhD in history from the University of Southern California. His writing has been featured in publications such as The Atlantic, Slate, and Mother Jones. Previously, he covered mixed martial arts for Bleacher Report, Deadspin, and The Washington Post.
