He has written about music for more than thirty years, interviewing a wide range of artists including Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen, Bono, Madonna, Lana Del Rey, and Adele. His work has appeared in numerous publications, such as the Sunday Times Culture, the Telegraph, the Independent, and the Guardian. He also served as Editor-in-Chief of Q and Kerrang!, two of the UK’s most successful and long-standing music publications, for a combined thirteen years.
