About The Author

Pete Greig

Pete Greig (Author)

Pete Greig is the bewildered founder of the 24-7 Prayer movement, an award-winning author of eleven books, and a co-host of the much-loved daily devotional Lectio365, used by more than 400,000 people.

He also serves on the Board of Waverley Abbey, one of the oldest places of Christian prayer in the British Isles, and as an ambassador for the international relief and development agency Tearfund.

Pete and his wife Sammy, a professional counsellor, are proud parents to two adult sons, and were the Founding Pastors of Emmaus Rd church in the south of England. Today they mentor leaders, co-host the annual Wildfires Festival, and belong to The Mustard Seed Order (OMS).

Pete’s digital resources include The Prayer Course (downloaded more than 3 million times), the Desert Fathers and Mothers series filmed in the Egyptian Desert, and his popular Aidan’s Way pilgrimage, for which he hiked 300 miles from the Scottish island of Iona to the Holy Isle of Lindisfarne.

Patrick Laurent (Illustrator)

Patrick Laurent is a freelance illustrator and designer. From a very young age Patrick was constantly drawing and creating things; he loves working with all kinds of materials, but his starting point is always the classic pencil and paper. He lives in London with his wife and three children.
