About the Authors
Dr. Prashant Kesharwani is an Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutics at Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya (A Central University), Sagar, India. His work focuses on translational nanomedicine, polymeric biomaterials, targeted drug delivery, nanoengineered drug delivery systems, and translational pharmaceutical research. He has contributed extensively to the scientific literature and has served as an editor of scholarly books. Dr. Kesharwani has received research funding from national agencies and has been recognized with awards and fellowships for his contributions to the field. His research interests include nanomedicine, targeted and stimuli-responsive drug delivery, polymeric nanocarriers, and related pharmaceutical applications. He is actively involved in scientific research, academic mentoring, and scholarly publishing.
Prof. Neelima Gupta presently works as the Vice Chancellor of Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya Sagar (A Central University), Madhya Pradesh, India. She is a global leader who has visited five continents, including countries such as the United States, UK, Japan, Germany, France, Poland, Hong Kong, Thailand, Egypt, China, Singapore, and Australia. She is the recipient of more than 70 awards, has published 216 research papers, is the author/editor of 9 books, and has adjudicated more than 150 PhD theses in India and abroad. She has worked extensively on parasite taxonomy, aquatic toxicology, and the pollution load of the Ramganga (Kalagarh to Kannauj) and Ganga (Haridwar to Kanpur) rivers, and fish health. Her research contributions include morpho-molecular–SEM taxonomy and protein profile-based studies on 60 species of 22 genera (including 51 new species and 3 subspecies), and 7 GenBank submissions. She is a pioneer in the Atmanirbhar Bharat Movement launched by the Government of India.
