What They're Saying

Critics Review

I knew it was a classic the instant I saw it … The simple verse is brilliant for reading aloud and is perfectly complemented by Blake’s spiky, anarchic pictures. An absolute must for the under-fives * Parents Magazine *
The illustrations dance through the pages with the speed and riotous rhythm of the poems. Children really begin to get a sense of what language can do when they experience this book * Child Education *
Blake’s exuberant illustrations positively leap off the page and perfectly match his infectious rhymes. This will have everyone joining in * The Good Book Guide *
