Rachel Pollack
Tyler Chin-Tanner took the leap from his early career in teaching and humanitarian aid work into his lifelong passion for comics, attending The Joe Kubert School from 2003 to 2006 and co-founding AWBW with his wife Wendy in 2005. Publishing through AWBW, Tyler writes graphic novels including the New York Times featured “American Terrorist,” the Mesoamerican fantasy epic “ Mezo,” and the YA series “ The Orphan King.” He’s also edited several anthologies including the Ringo Award nominated anthologies “ All We Ever Wanted” and “ Dead Beats” as well as producing the GLAAD Media and Ringo Award winning anthology “ Young Men in Love.”
