About The Author

Rainie Oet

Rainie Oet writes fiction and poetry for adults and young readers. Her debut middle grade novel, Glitch Girl!, won the Lambda Literary Award. She is also the author of the picture book Robin’s Worlds and several books of poetry, including Glorious Veils of Diane and Inside Ball Lightning. She received her MFA from Syracuse University, where she was awarded the Shirley Jackson Prize in Fiction.
