Raymond J. Stone

BA, BCom, DipSocStud. (Melb), MA (Ottawa), PhD (Hong Kong), CMAHRI. Raymond has over 40 years of experience in international HRM, holding senior positions in Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, and Korea. His expertise spans compensation and benefits, recruitment and selection, psychological appraisal, industrial relations, HRM research, training and development, and strategic human resource planning and policy development. He has taught at universities in Australia, Japan, Hong Kong, and the United Kingdom. His articles on negotiation and international HRM have appeared in leading academic and business journals across Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

Anne Cox

Anne is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Business, Faculty of Business and Law, University of Wollongong. With over 15 years of experience, she works, teaches, and researches HRM and international HRM in Australia, the UK, Vietnam, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Malaysia. Her research and publications focus on three key areas: the cross-border transfer of multinational companies’ HRM/IR policies and practices, the transformation of HR/IR systems in developing countries, and gender equity.

Mihajla Gavin

Mihajla is a Senior Lecturer in the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) Business School. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Liberal Studies) (Hons Class I and University Medal) and a PhD from the University of Sydney. Mihajla has experience teaching human resource management and employment relations at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels at Australian universities. She has participated in various multidisciplinary and industry-engaged projects concerning trade union strategy, crisis management, and teachers’ working conditions. Her published works explore work intensification in teaching, union strategy, gender and work, and the evolving nature of governance, professionalism, and work in the education sector. Mihajla is a member of the Executive Committees for the Association of Industrial Relations Academics in Australia and New Zealand (AIRAANZ) and the Industrial Relations Society of New South Wales (IRSNSW).

Joseph A. Carpini

Joseph is a Lecturer of Human Resource Management and Organisational Behaviour in the Management and Organisations Department at the University of Western Australia Business School. He earned his PhD from the University of Western Australia in 2018. His research is situated at the intersection of workplace performance, mental health, and diversity. Joseph has authored over 30 peer-reviewed journal articles and academic entries in publications such as the Academy of Management Annals, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Early Interventions in Psychiatry, and the BMJ Open. He received the UWA Business School Early Career Research Award in 2021 and has secured over $1 million in competitive research funding.

Joseph is dedicated to evidence-based human resource management and the practical application of research findings. His teaching at UWA has garnered multiple accolades, including the University Teaching Excellence Award and a Students’ Choice Award.
