Robert D. Jacobus
Robert D. Jacobus is the author of Black Man in the Huddle: Stories from the Integration of Texas Football and Houston Cougars in the 1960s: Death Threats, the Veer Offense, and the Game of the Century. He was a history teacher and coach for twenty-six years. After retiring from Texas public schools, he taught history at Houston Community College, Lone Star College, and, most recently, at Stephen F. Austin State University. He resides with his wife, Eva, in Pearland, Texas.
