Critics Review

Ross I really like it, punchy and as you say lots of little bites, I reckon it will be good for a daily dose of inspiration

Footnote

Hi Ross,

I am up to Z.

I am sorry I was not there to recognise the low level of your life, as a friend should have.

Like you did for me when, “I was responsible for the drought”. I thank you for hours you spent on me that day, and it was a few hours before I was able to recognise I was not as you said, “Jesus Christ and causing the drought”. Nice to see you are on the rise again, and disseminating your incredible coaching knowledge through this great book. Having run a business, you have covered so many important issues that new business people are unaware of when they commence the journey.

I hope they listen and get all their ducks in a row as you suggest before they launch, and then face the cost of repairing what they did not know.

Ken.

Ross I really enjoyed reading your excellent book on business. I taught business management and accounting for my whole career and read many things in your book that need stressing to business owners and managers. I really enjoyed you stressing endlessly about the difference between cash flow and profit which are two very different things, and the importance of KPI’s which should be realistic, achievable and timely. Your book would be a great read for someone in business currently but would be an essential read for someone contemplating a move into a business of their own. I had never heard of GOYA KOD but it resonated with me. Pg50. Computer security was a great read. Is storage backed up, how many apps are illegally on our system, do staff share passwords? A great book, not the end but this should be the beginning. Phil Reynolds

Hi Ross,

Thanks for the opportunity to read your book and offer a review.

This book is an easy read full of little gems based on examples and experience. There is something here for all to benefit from. Common sense is often in short supply when we get caught up in the emotion of running a business or enterprise.

We wish you and your family all the success with this book and the future..

Best Regards

Greg Dixon

Company Director
