Samuel Graham Wilson dedicated much of his life to missionary work in Persia (modern-day Iran). Wilson’s experiences with Bahaism led him to write Bahaism and Its Claims, a critical analysis of the faith from a Christian perspective. In this work, Wilson examined the doctrines, practices, and claims of Bahaism, challenging its theological assertions and affirming Christianity’s superiority. His book aimed to provide clarity on the controversy surrounding Bahaism, which was gaining traction in the West at the time. Throughout his life, Wilson remained committed to understanding and addressing the religious and cultural complexities of Persia, where he worked under challenging circumstances. Though little is known about his personal life beyond his missionary work, his contributions to Christian outreach and religious scholarship left a lasting impact.
