Sara Soler
Sara Soler
Born in 1992 in Barbastro, Spain, Sara Soler is an Aragonese comics artist and illustrator based in Barcelona. She studied fine arts and graphic arts at the Escola Joso.
Soler has a diverse background, having worked on costume and scenery design for the film Morpheus (Factory Productions), as an animation storyboarder, and as a showrunner for the animated movie Memoirs of a Man in Pajamas.
Her narrative comics career began in 2017 after receiving a Carnet Jove Connecta’t al Còmic grant, which enabled her to publish her first solo-created title, Red & Blue (Panini). She has since worked with various Spanish and U.S. publishers. Her published works include:

- An adaptation of Robinson Crusoe (RBA)
- Planeta Manga vol 2 (Planeta)
- Dr. Horrible: Best Friends Forever (Dark Horse)

Us, initially a self-published fanzine that garnered several awards in 2019 and 2020, was later published as a full-length graphic novel by Astiberri in 2021.
Currently, Soler juggles various projects in both the U.S. and Spain and also teaches comics classes at the Escola Joso.
