Sean Manning
Dr. Sean Manning studied Greek and Roman Studies at the University of Calgary and Ancient History and Ancient Near Eastern Studies at the University of Innsbruck, where he received his PhD in 2018. He now works outside academia but is affiliated with the University of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.
He was once involved in the historical fencing movement, which inspired a ten-year quest to understand medieval clothing, combining his academic training with hands-on experience.
