Taylor and Jullien’s joyful, zingy and high-colour graphic picture book is brilliant fun for reading together – the high contrast and thick black outlines as well as the nice clear font make it super accessible while being stylish and silly with plenty of great phrases to copy. Sean Taylor has written more than 60 books for children including The Dream Train, a much-loved collection of bedtime poetry, illustrated by Anuska Allepuz, and You’re a Poet, illustrated by Sam Usher. For 30 years he’s been encouraging children to write poems themselves.

Jean Jullien is an illustrator who works with a vast range of media including photography, installations and clothing. His clients include Waterstones, the Tate, Channel 4, The New York Times and the Guardian; he also exhibits his work worldwide. His picture books include Hoot Owl, Master of Disguise and I Want to Be in a Scary Story, both written by Sean Taylor, and This Is Not A Book. Originally from Nantes, France, Jean now lives in Paris.
