Sonia Shah is a journalist, Guggenheim fellow, and the author of The Next Great Migration, a PEN/EO Wilson Prize Finalist, as well as Pandemic, and The Fever. Her writing has appeared in the New York Times Magazine, The New Yorker, The Nation, and elsewhere, and her TED talk on malaria has been viewed more than a million times. A recipient of the Whiting Creative Nonfiction Grant for her work on The Imaginary Wall, she lives in Baltimore, Maryland.
