For many years Stefan Soell has been planning exactly this erotic journey through Ukraine. He has immortalized models with his photos for over 20 years and today looks back on a very eventful past. Until 1989 or 1990 it was practically impossible to bring girls through the Iron Curtain to the West. It took a lot of so-called managers and whatever connection option you could find - mixed with bribes. One had to fill out a lot of official papers but despite a lot of effort and work one often did not succeed.
Stefan Soell
Stefan Soell began taking photos at the age of 15, and soon landscape and portrait photography had become his favourite subject. In addition to his astonishing talent at choosing the ideal background and selecting key details, he also has the rare knack of capturing ideal lighting conditions. Stefan Soell is one of the few photographers capable of exploiting the full potential of his models to capture every aspect of their beauty.
