Steve Barlow
Steve Barlow
Steve Barlow, as part of the duo 2Steves, has co-authored over 250 books with Steve Skidmore since 1988. He was born in Crewe and received his education at Crewe Grammar School, Warwick University, and Nottingham University. His career has been diverse, including experiences in teaching, acting, stage management, and puppetry. He spent four years teaching at a village school in Botswana before returning to the UK. The 2Steves have performed and presented at numerous book festivals across the UK and internationally, including Edinburgh and Hay.
Steve Skidmore
Steve Skidmore, alongside Steve Barlow, forms The 2Steves, a highly regarded comedy writing and performing duo for young audiences in Britain. He was born in Birstall, near Leicester. He studied English at Nottingham University, though he dedicated significant time to sports and various jobs, including counting pastry pie lids. He trained as a teacher of Drama, English, and Film before joining forces with Steve Barlow as a full-time author. He currently resides in Leicester and is an avid rugby fan.
Wendy Tan
Wendy Tan is a Chinese-Malaysian artist born and raised in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. While drawing has always been a passion, she began illustrating with dedication during high school. Wendy later earned a Diploma in Multimedia Design from Saito College. Her profound interest in storytelling emerged through film and animation during her tenure as a storyboard and visual development artist in the Malaysian animation industry. Wendy excels at using illustration to convey narratives, often employing striking color and light.
