Although he has a broad range of interest in all things motoring related, in particular Steve is a motor-racing enthusiast. His passions are for saloon car racing, both NewZealand and international, from the 1960s through to the 1980s, as well as the American Can-Am sports car series, and Formula 5000. Steve has written approximately 20 books, both for New Zealand and international publishers, and his motorsport history books have been widely praised for their research and depth of detail.
