Tara Shine
Dr. Tara Shine is an expert in climate change and climate justice, dedicated to communicating her scientific insights and a positive vision for the future. She has advised world leaders, governments, multilateral agencies, and civil society organizations on climate change, environmental policy, and development assistance.
Previously, Dr. Shine served as Special Advisor to the Mary Robinson Foundation – Climate Justice and as an Advisor to The Elders. She has been announced as the incoming Chair of the International Institute of Environment and Development (IIED). Her experience encompasses the intricacies of international climate change negotiations and the role of business in shaping and implementing sustainable development.
Dr. Shine is also the Co-Founder and Director of the award-winning social enterprise, Change by Degrees, which educates and inspires individuals to live more sustainably in their homes, workplaces, and communities.
