- Mike Peters is a serving officer in the Army Air Corps and a member of the Guild of Battlefield Guides. Over his twenty years of service, the history of the Glider Pilot Regiment, the forebears of his Corps, has become increasingly important to him.
- Tim Saunders served as an infantry officer in the British Army for thirty years, during which time he visited campaigns across the globe, from ancient to modern.
