Thomas Kochan is the George M. Bunker Professor at the MIT Sloan School of Management and Codirector of the Institute for Work and Employment Research.He teaches courses on the future of work to MIT students on campus and to the general public through the MITx online platform.He is coauthor (with Paul Osterman, Richard M. Locke, and Michael J. Piore) of Working in America- A Blueprint for the New Labor Market (MIT Press).Richard L. Schmalensee is John C.
