Summary

What does it take to keep fighting?

Why does Buffy the Vampire Slayer repeatedly risk her life for a world that burdens, isolates, and sometimes rejects her? How do her friends become family—and what happens when love, grief, power, and betrayal pull them apart? Sunnydale turns the horrors of growing up into literal monsters, using vampires, demons, and apocalypses to explore struggles that remain recognizably human.
