Travis Langley
TRAVIS LANGLEY, PhD, is a distinguished professor and chair of psychology at Henderson State University. He is the author of Batman and Psychology: A Dark and Stormy Knight. A popular keynote speaker for the American Psychological Association and other organizations, he has been interviewed by major media outlets such as The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and CNN. He has also appeared in documentaries including Necessary Evil, Legends of the Knight, and Batman & Bill, and is recognized as one of the most popular psychologists online.
JILL M. SWIRSKY, PhD, teaches psychology full-time at Holy Family University. She earned her PhD in developmental psychology from Temple University, where her research focused on adolescent social development, including peer victimization, popularity, and social status. Her academic interests lie in utilizing popular culture as an effective tool for teaching psychology course content.
