About The Author
Trina Saffioti
Trina Saffioti lives in Wellington, New Zealand and is a descendant of the Gugu Yulangi people of North Queensland. Trina has always wanted to be a writer and she is influenced by the creation stories her grandmother told her and the family stories her mother tells her.
Norma MacDonald is descended from the Yamitji people of the Gascoyne Region and the Nyungar people of the South West of Western Australia. Norma is one of Australia s leading artists and her work is held in national collections including the Art Gallery of WA and the National Gallery of Australia. Her commissions include civic sculptures and murals. She has both written and illustrated several children s picture books.
