Critics Review
‘A moving, timely novel.’ * Age *
‘Everything about this book says—“elegant”, the writing, the translation (faultless), the cover art….This feminist narrative is heartbreaking. Such courage and independence juxtaposed against a system that defeats and wears down strong women…I ask, has much changed?’ * Reading, Writing and Riesling *
‘A powerful and impactful novel that I highly recommend. Beautifully translated from Italian.’ * Theresa Smith Writes *
‘Beautiful, lyrical, poetic.’ * Pip Williams, ABC Radio National: The Bookshelf *
