Johnson is a Southern writer who lives in western Massachusetts, where she tends to several rescue animals and one college kid. If she could have one superpower, it would be to help all children feel seen and respected. Her hat collection is legendary.
Gillian Reid is a children’s book illustrator, character designer, life drawing instructor, and yoga teacher. Originally from Northern Ireland, she now lives in Canada. She loves to draw, go to the movies, roller-skate, do yoga, and spend time with her cat, Frank. She doesn’t like to wear hats, but does love to be wrapped up in her favorite scarfs in the colder months.
