Virginie Bobin

Virginie Bobin works across research, curatorial and editorial practices, writing, pedagogy, and translation. She is a professor in Art and Social Practices at esadhar (Rouen), co-founder of the editorial and curatorial platform Qalqalah x0642x0644x0642x0644x0629, and a Doctor in Artistic Research (practice-based PhD, Academy of Fine Arts, Vienna). She has worked for various art centers and residency programs (Villa Vassilieff, Betonsalon, Witte de With, Les Laboratoires d’Aubervilliers, Performa). Her independent projects were presented at international institutions Tanzquartier Vienna, CRAC S te, CAC Bretigny, Museion Bolzano, and MoMA PS1 New York. Recent publications include Bestiario de Leng itas (with Mercedes Azpilicueta, 2024).
