Critics Review

“How good it is to have this important, wisely selected collection of Vivekananda’s essential writings. His stirring voice resounds through its pages, from cover to cover.“—Huston Smith, author of The World’s Religions “Engrossing and enriching. Vivekananda’s thoughts are especially relevant to today’s problems, as they are profound yet practical. This is a book which should be widely read.“—Anne Bancroft, author of Weavers of Wisdom “For decades the wisdom of Swami Vivekananda has inspired millions of people worldwide with his spiritual teachings free of dogma and sectarianism. Now Living at the Source provides ready access to that inspiring wisdom for individuals seeking self-knowledge in specific areas as well as for those who are seeking a comprehensive philosophy of the highest order.“—Dr. Kenneth Pelletier, author of Mind as Healer, Mind as Slayer “The power of Vivekananda’s spirit and the force of his intellect are awesome. One is tempted to be humbled by his many gifts, but his constant message in these wonderful quotations is that what he has attained is available to every one of us. It is impossible to read Vivekananda’s words and not be changed.“—Alan Arkin, actor and author of Halfway through the Door
