W.H.D. Rouse
W.H.D. Rouse was a prominent 20th-century expert on Ancient Greece and served as headmaster of the Perse School in Cambridge, England, for 26 years. During his tenure, the school gained recognition for its effective instruction in spoken Greek and Latin. Rouse’s expertise stemmed from his extensive studies of classical literature and his travels throughout Greece. He passed away in 1950.
