About The Author

Yvonne Banham

Yvonne Banham has completed two years of study with the Golden Egg Academy and is one of the network organisers for SCBWI Scotland. She grew up on a small island off the Cumbrian coast and spent lots of time huddled on blustery beaches with a book or three. She speaks Dutch (badly) after living in The Netherlands for ten years but is now based in the almost-wilds of Stirlingshire. When she’s not writing or reading spooky books, she’ll most likely be hiking or trail running in the nearby hills.

Her writing influences include Frances Hardinge, Shirley Jackson, Kiran Millwood Hargrave, Kat Ellis and Deirdre Sullivan.
