About The Author

Zanni Louise

Zanni Louise

Zanni Louise is an internationally published Australian author of over 40 books, ranging from picture books to young adult novels (writing as Zanni L. Arnot). Her works have received recognition from prominent speech pathology and educational publishing awards, as well as accolades from the Children’s Book Council of Australia, White Raven’s International Catalogue of Children’s Books, Panda Awards, K.O.A.L.A. Awards, Sakura Book Medal Reading List, and the Australian Book Design Awards, among others. Her middle-grade novel, Queenie in Seven Moves, is currently part of the New South Wales school curriculum.

Zanni holds a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and Creative Writing, a Graduate Diploma of Psychology, and a Certificate in Counselling. She resides in an artists’ warehouse in The Netherlands with her two tall teenagers and an even taller husband. Zanni enjoys visiting schools, organizing retreats for adults, and running in forests. She founded The Sunshine House, a growing community for writers and illustrators, and serves as an author ambassador for Room To Read, an organization dedicated to supporting girls’ education and literacy.

Jingting Wang

Jingting Wang is an award-winning children’s book illustrator based in England, UK. Her illustrations have been recognized in significant awards, including the Bologna Children’s Book Fair (2025), the 3x3 Illustration Show Annual (2024), the Communication Arts Illustration Awards (2025), the American Illustration Awards (2025), and the Cheltenham Illustration Awards (2022, 2024). After completing her Illustration MA at Kingston University in London with distinction, she now focuses on children’s book illustration and maintains a long-standing collaboration with major publishers in China, the UK, and Australia on a diverse range of books.

As an illustrator, Jingting delights in bringing whimsical characters and heartfelt scenes to life, employing a blend of digital and traditional techniques to craft imaginative worlds filled with wonder and joy.
