Zhang Xiaoyu
Born in 1975 in the town of Anshun in Guizhou Province, China, Zhang Xiaoyu began drawing his first comic pages in 1995. He has since completed over a dozen works for international publishers such as Humanoids, Casterman, and Glenat.
Zhang has received China’s top comics awards twice: in 1999 for David and in 2001 for The Take-off. He also contributes to FEI, a magazine focused on science fiction stories. He is now considered one of China’s most in-demand comic artists.
