Stripped

2009 release that contains 17 of Willie’s original RCA recordings from 1966-70, stripped back to their bare bones essence, free of lush orchestrations and backing vocalists. These new ‘stripped’ versions of Willie favorites now sound exactly how he meant them to sound. There’s no doubt that Willie was, is and will always be a true original on the Country Music scene, adorned or unadorned with fancy production. Features ‘Bring Me Sunshine’, ‘Sunday Mornin’ Comin’ Down’, ‘The Local Memory’ and many more. Sony/BMG.
